Visual communication is what I chose as the main aspect in life.
Giulio Perez is a young Italian artist born in Lake Como, Italy, on the 7th January 1991, since he was a little boy he tried to refine his passion for drawing and visual arts. In 2011 he obtained a textile designer degree (specializing in advertising design) at ‘Istituto Tecnico Paolo Carcano’ in Como. Since he got of school he spends most of his free time, increasing his love for Adobe programs, specializing mainly in Photoshop. During these times he discovered the world of illustration and in particular the world of Paolo Barbieri,and he is trying to achieve a new goal since. In 2012 he began his career in the fashion world at the ‘New Age Textile Design srl’ in Como where his boss, and his mentor, Nigel Joyce, he made sure that his talent increased in digital and manual design techniques, and giving the chance to see Giulio’s work under famous brands like: Versace Jeans, Stella Jean, Gottex, Yamamay, etc. In 2014 with Nigel Joyce and one of his colleagues begin the ‘Newsprint’ project, a book about fashion trends that was successful in the world of Italian Fashion, in this project Giulio holds the position of: photographer, illustrator, page designer and videomaker. Now, however, he decided to experiment new forms of art like music (with the ‘Omnikage’ project) and tattoos. He also completed advertising for various for big companies like ‘Gruppo serratore spa’ and he develops illustrations for many covers of CDs.
My ability to work in groups matured in multiple situations where it was necessary to
collaborate between different personalities. The ability to work,
design and execute in stressful situations within the constraints of temporal,
financial and interpretation of the demands placed by a customer / target.
